What is the Art of Imagination Playshop?
The AoI Playshop is an interactive gathering that helps us focus on what we want to create and build momentum — whether for ourselves, our relationships, our work, or our communities.
It’s the most powerful stuff I know, and it’s rooted in awareness of how we feel / what we’re up for tending to today—maybe ourselves and our hearts and coming into the present, maybe it’s forward looking—this next moon cycle (we’re starting just after this new moon we’re on the brink of), or the next season, what are we looking to harvest and bring discernment to, or we may focus on birthing or shaping a project, a relationship, or a certain aspect of life. All of this dreaming comes from a place of merging our energies with the earth beneath and around us and with whatever we wanna call the big, all-connecting-field-of-love.
These spaces are kept small so there’s time for all voices to be heard multiple times.
We start with a guided slow down and visualization to get our minds prepped for dreaming and reaching. We also start by checking-in with ourselves (we’re all welcome to share or pass), which helps us know what kinds of prompts are gonna be best suited to our current emotional states.
Then we dive into the game ~ we go around the circle, and folks can choose a card from the Art of Imagination deck, which has differently colored backs, so you can self-select a prompt that’s right for your energy level. There’s over 35 prompts, so after one session you'll have a solid start on your own deck of Art of Imagination prompts to use on your own and with your families, friends, collaborators, clients, and students.
Food is provided. You’re welcome to show up and we’ll have everything you need to be nourished, and you’ll get your own blank deck of cards. During the playshop, you may use a watercolor set of mine, and you’re welcome to purchase one to take home with you, if you want.
I hope you’re able to join us! And if you want to join but the timing or pricing or the structure in some way doesn’t work for you, please give me that feedback—this offering is becoming my central focus besides my one-on-one sessions, as I think it’s one of the most powerful ways to create substantial paradigm-shifting momentum, and if there’s a way I could adjust my approach to sharing so it could better suit you, I’d love to know.
