What it looks like:

Let's remember how prepared we are for times of uncertainty with a whole toolkit of practices: The Art of Imagination. The Art of Imagination Playshop is an interactive session that helps us focus on what we want to create—whether for ourselves, our organizations, families, communities, or society at large. As we move deeper into the dark time of year, these sessions give you a living, breathing practice for tending to your inner garden, calling in and creating the reality you're ready for. Using guided imagination games, we'll explore a treasure trove of approaches designed for different energy levels, emotional states, and vantage points. Whether you're new to manifestation practices or an old hat, together we embrace that the real power isn't just in knowing these practices—it's in having reminders for ourselves to put them into practice. In this playshop, we create reminders for ourselves of what works for us in the form of a deck of cards. This 2-hour workshop begins with a brief introduction to the power of intentional imagination, then moves into an engaging, choose-your-own-adventure format. Participants take turns selecting from over 30 imagination prompts, which I teach and demonstrate. Each person who chooses a prompt can respond to it themselves or simply observe the example—there's no pressure to share, and passing is always welcome. While folks take turns responding to the prompts, everyone else is welcome to be crafting their own Art of Imagination card deck, where each card represents one of the prompts. The vision is that by the end of the session you'll have a solid start on your own deck of Imagination prompt cards for you to use and share with your collaborators. This is a judgment-free space where playfulness, curiosity, and creative possibility are celebrated. Come as you are, and let's strengthen our imaginations together. 8 participants maximum. When: Sunday October 25th, 4-6 pm PST (virtual via Google Meet) Investment: $11-77
